Chapter One Came & Went

The Chapter One-night mini fest our Collective, TCB, put together went swell. Sido and her Rocking Collages gave the tone to a sometimes furious, sometimes cool Folk and Rock & Roll nite: Bastien and his powerful acoustic French love songs, The Tsunamis that threw fire to a crowd readily entranced by their high energy Surf-Rock, D.o.M´s enraged end engaged vintage post-grunge Rock bullets sang in French , the TCB Collective´s resident DJ´s Dancefloor and old skool mixes and last but not least our own 45 mn set that was a moment of pure fun and and musicality :) Next gig for the F&R´s coming next saturday at the Ambassadeurs event with over 2000 people attending ... off to rehearse !

I wanna thank the TCB team for the overall effort , the Photographink Collective for the images ,the Indifferent club for their trust and all the young dudes that grooved with us !

Iain Matthews ( Fairport Convention)

One of the godfathers of English Folk-Rock, Iain Matthews stops by Up Close And Acoustic. Iain began in the group Fairport Convention with contemporaries Richard Thompson, Ashley Hutchings, and Simon Nicol beginning the English electric folk movement, then formed his own group Matthews Southern Comfort, and Plainsong, before starting a long and varied solo career.
