Spent yesterday's afternoon at Philou's new appartment-loft-studio in the 19th to discuss plans. Philippe Rigal alias Philou alias Philou Pocket Project has been in my life for a decade now. He toured on bass with me on several occasions with my former Rock&Roll band Playground and we always enjoyed a simple and real friendship. He lately produced his own album in London with Arny Suun, another musician-friend of which I will surely talk of later. Philou and I have been working on my first solo release, an EP I've been working on for the last 6 months. We plan to have it shaped-up for the end of summer. He is to be off to his native Southern town of Montpellier while I'll be a Paris Summerian. We will have to overcome distances, but many kilometers have been already covered and we have the Sun as a guide ...
